Effective 13 September 2026.
zetox-mail is a desktop application (a Thunderbird extension with a companion helper program) that runs entirely on the user's own computer. It is published by zetox.dev, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Contact: [email protected].
When a user chooses to connect a Google account, zetox-mail requests access to Google Calendar (read and write events), Google Tasks (read and write task lists and tasks) and Google Contacts (read contacts). It uses this access solely to show and edit the user's own calendars, tasks and contacts inside the application.
zetox-mail's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the user-facing features described above; it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never read by humans except by the user.
Email, notes and files handled by zetox-mail stay under the user's control on their own systems (their mail provider, their computer, and any server the user operates themselves). The application never phones home.
Changes to this policy are published at this address with a new effective date.
